Clearing Account Ledger

WinCAMS Clearing Account module assists in keeping track of revenue transactions that are temporarily allocated to a Clearing Account (i.e. holding area) until the final, actual allocation has been determined.

For example, a payment is received but it is not yet determined which Revenue Account No it will be posed to. In this instance, the Clearing Account Ledger may be used to temporarily “hold” the entry. Once the final Account No has been determined, the Revenue transaction is transferred from the Clearing Account Ledger to the actual Budget Revenue Account Ledger.
