Road (Streets)
WinCAMS Roads (Streets) module provides the ability to track maintenance history, costs, conditions, etc. for each county Road Segment (or city Street).
For each Road Segment the following information is tracked:
- General Information: Road Name and Cross Road Names, Milepost From / To, Jurisdiction, Surface Type, Function Class, etc.
- Value and Depreciation history
- Costs of Maintenance & Repair: Labor, Equipment, Materials, Overhead, Other/Warrants, and related Project costs
- Road Features
- Road Conditions: computes Pavement Condition Index (PCI), which is used to recommend appropriate treatment option from multiple Maintenance Strategies with a projected cost estimate.
- Maintenance History
- Photos
- Routes (a Road Segment can belong to a Maintenance Route)
- Notes and Comments
The Road module provides its own Service Requests and PM Services options:
- Service Requests: new Maintenance work requests are captured in Service Requests that can be tracked, printed out as Work Order forms, and program computes costs of completing the Service Request (i.e. Labor, Equipment, Materials, etc.)
- PM Services: recurring, scheduled maintenance events can be set up as PM Services with a repeat schedule: e.g. every 3 months, or every 2 years, etc.) – system generates new Service Requests at the appropriate times.
The Road module also has an optional extension for tracking Sidewalks:
- General Information: Street Name, Length, No of Panels, Vegetation, etc.
- Value and Depreciation history
- Costs of Maintenance & Repair: Labor, Equipment, Materials, Overhead, Other/Warrants, and related Project costs
- Sidewalk Conditions: computes Sidewalk Condition Index (SCI), which is used to recommend appropriate treatment option from multiple Maintenance Strategies with a projected cost estimate.

The Road module also supports Routes:
- Collection of Road Segments and / or Bridges with each entry featuring a Percentage (of cost distribution) – e.g. Snow Route.
- WinCAMS programs accept Route Nos (e.g. snow plough operator charges 8 hrs of Labor to Snow Route: program distributes maintenance costs proportionally over the Road Segments that make up the Route.
